Back during the pandemic was tough for us. As an entertainer we had to come up with entertainment that was always better performed live and switch it to being in front of a camera. Here is a routine put together, by Zoomalata, where he clowns around with an electric air pump and balloons. In the end he created a huge giant dog. Enjoy the Show!

See some of the activities I have recently performed to break through my comfort zone.
Going past my comfort zone
So in the video I showed some photos of ways I’ve been breaking through my comfort zone. One way is through green smoothies. They look disgusting but actually taste great. These are packed with vitamins and only the sugar that is the whole fruit I put in. Along with this I am exercising and stretching. My goal is to lose 50 lbs.
Drawing on Balloons
Also, I’ve worked on learning how to draw cartoon faces on balloons. It is time consuming and doesn’t always work for twisting at events but will help me out in another area, deliverables.
Deliverables
Deliverables are fun balloon creations like the Paw Patrol creation in the video, but, it can also be balloon flower bouquests, and simple balloon bouquet. People will be able to order these for that special person in their life to celebrate them. We will be delivering to the Fox Cities in Northeast Wisconsin to start. To order from us go to AppletonBalloons.com
2 Hour Stress Free Birthday Party
It wasn’t mentioned in the video but moving our birthday service from a basic magic show to a full 2 hour stress free event that includes magic, comedy, games, balloons, and music, has been probably the biggest pushing out of my comfort zone. If you want to learn more go to this page on our web site MagicBirthdayParty.com

Can magic change a persons life? In my humble opinion, yes, it can. It changed my life.
You might not believe me but I am very much an introvert…shy if you will. Magic helped me get out of my shell.
Growing up I would watch magicians perform on television. Big names such as Doug Henning and David Copperfield.
In fact, Copperfield in the 80’s did a routine with a dancing cane. When I saw the dancing cane available from a magic catalog I bought it as soon as I could with my paper route money. I practiced that dancing cane routine for hours (years even, before performing it for an audience). And, I had a lot of fun doing it.
I loved that cane and first performed it live a few years after getting to my high school classmates in drama class. The class enjoyed it and my teacher, Sara Joelson did too since I received a very good grade for it. I performed the dancing cane routine to the song “All I Do Is Dream of You” from hit movie, “Singing in the Rain.” (On a side note this was a slow ballet from the record LP sung by Gene Kelly not the upbeat version that was in the movie sung by Debbie Reynolds.)
So can magic change a life? It sure can! It took a shy boy who was a middle child in the family and give him what he needed to be noticed and feel appreciated. But more than that. The greatest reward was that I saw people with amazed looks and smiles on their faces. I was making a difference in other peoples lives. Their happiness made me happy.
Here I was a punk teenager being able to encourage others, make them laugh and smile with magic, comedy, music, bright colored silks and snow white doves.
I am Zoomalata, a clown. My talents are balloon twisting, magic tricks, puppets and storytelling using balloons as costumes and props. I love to make people laugh in my shows and in life. It is what I live for...to make a difference in the lives of everyone I come in contact with. In this blog I will give information about how I got started in the business of making people laugh (be sure to check out the Zoomalata Clubhouse for extra information).
Also, in this blog you will be able to find tips and tricks on running a fun birthday party or help in finding a professional entertainer.
There will also be fun balloons from Zoomalata's balloon channel where there he is known as "the Balloon Guy"
